Company policy overview

Responsible AI Policy

Aivry’s central principle is that AI should support people without becoming an unchecked autonomous authority. Oversight should increase as the consequences of an incorrect output increase.

Why is human oversight necessary?

AI can misunderstand context, produce incorrect information or reflect bias. Qualified people must remain accountable for high-impact decisions, including healthcare and patient safety.

What boundaries apply in healthcare?

Patient communication systems may assist with appointments, reminders, approved preparation information and follow-ups. They must not independently diagnose, prescribe, override clinicians or replace emergency care.

When should a person take over?

Escalate when a patient asks for human assistance, a question requires clinical judgment, the approved knowledge is insufficient, information conflicts, or a safety concern arises.

How should knowledge and data be managed?

Clinics should approve accurate, current information, limit data to what the workflow needs and apply appropriate access controls. Validate workflows, review failures and report material AI or safety concerns to grievance@getaivry.com.
